Product Intern (on-site)

Berlin
Full-time
Intern / Student

Your role

We're building the AI operating system for the energy transition, and we ship faster than almost anyone in our market. There's always more product to build than hands to build it, and that's where you come in. You'll join the product team from day one, helping take features from idea to launch and shaping a product that thousands of installers across Europe rely on. Start as an intern, prove yourself, and grow into a permanent, full-time Junior PM role.
You'll work directly alongside our Product Managers, engineering team and with our CPO and co-founder in a team of 15 across product, engineering and design.

Your mission

  • Test and validate new features before they ship, catching issues early so we keep quality high while moving fast.
  • Turn user problems, edge cases, and feedback into clear, well-scoped product tickets and specs.
  • Work shoulder to shoulder with PMs and engineers to move features from idea to launch and keep the pipeline flowing.
  • Dig into how installers actually use the product, and feed what you learn back into what we build next.
  • Take small product areas end to end as you grow, from writing the spec to seeing it live.
  • Pick up whatever moves the product forward, from release checks to competitor research to quick data pulls.
Your path here
This is an intern role built to become a permanent one. You start close to the product, learning it inside out, and as you prove yourself you take on more ownership and grow into a full-time Junior PM role running your own product area. We're hiring for the person who wants that path, not a short stint before the next thing.

Your profile

We care more about how you think and what you've built than where you've been. Here's what will set you up for success in this role:
  • You're genuinely excited about building great software products, and you care about getting the details right.
  • You've finished your studies (or finish within the next few weeks), can start full-time soon, and want to build a career here rather than fill a gap before a masters.
  • You think like a product person: you look at a feature and see the user, the outcome, and what's still missing.
  • You're smart, you learn fast, and you move on your own initiative. We're not expecting polished PM skills yet, we're betting on how quickly you'll build them.
  • Based in Berlin and energized by being in the room. We're intentionally office-first: decisions get made in real time, prototypes get stress-tested over lunch, and the founding team is ten meters away. If that's how you thrive, you'll feel at home here.
Nice to have (but not required):
  • A project, side product, or internship where you owned something end to end.
  • German or another European language on top of fluent English.
Don't meet every requirement? Apply anyway. We hire for potential and perspective. Credentials are a starting point, not a ceiling.

How we hire

We keep things transparent and respect your time. Most go from first call to offer in under three weeks.
  • Intro call (30 min): We want to understand what you're looking for, not just screen your CV.
  • Hiring manager interview (30 min): We go deep on your experience, your thinking, and how you approach problems.
  • Final interview (30 min): A deeper chat with one of our Product Managers, about how you approach problems and work with a team.
  • Offer & signed contract.
Need any adjustments at any stage? Just let us know.

About us

At Cloover, we're building the AI operating system for the energy transition — a platform that helps thousands of installation companies across Germany and Austria sell more, plan faster, and deliver better. We've secured $1.22B in total financing — including $1.2B in committed debt financing and a $22M Series A — and are just getting started on our European expansion.

We're a high-performance team that works with purpose. We own our work fully, debate ideas hard, commit together, and execute without hesitation. Seniority doesn't win arguments here — the best idea does. Speed isn't a deadline we hit — it's how we're wired.

And we’re AI-first by default. We're not experimenting with AI — we're built on it. Tech ships faster because AI prototypes before we build. Sales closes more because outreach is personalized at scale. Finance stress-tests in real time. People & Culture builds processes in a fraction of the time. Whatever your function, AI is how we punch above our weight — and it's a skill you'll develop here faster than almost anywhere else.

We believe the energy transition belongs to everyone — and so does our team. We're international, driven, and deliberately inclusive. We hire for potential and perspective, and we welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
