Senior BI Developer (on-site)
Intro
Data is the backbone of Cloover's decision-making. As our Senior BI Developer, you'll own the analytics layer that powers finance, sales, operations, and product teams. You'll build dashboards that drive the energy transition, helping us manage loan portfolios, optimize installer performance, and scale across Europe.
Your mission
This isn't a role where you inherit a finished platform. You'll help shape how 80+ users interact with data, deploying our new BI platform (Qlik Cloud) and enabling true self-service analytics across the company.
- Design and build dashboards and reports in Qlik Cloud for finance, sales/growth, and operations teams
- Develop data models and semantic layers that enable non-technical users to explore data independently
- Write and optimize SQL queries against our cloud data warehouse (BigQuery) to support reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Collaborate with the Data Lead to extend our dbt transformation layer and maintain data quality
- Own the migration from Metabase to Qlik, ensuring continuity for critical reports
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into actionable visualizations
- Document data sources, metric definitions, and dashboard logic to build organizational data literacy
Your profile
- 3+ years of experience in BI development, analytics, or a similar role.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in enterprise BI tools. Qlik Cloud experience preferred; strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker also considered
- Experience designing semantic layers or data models for self-service analytics
- Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
- Strong communication skills. You can translate between data and business teams
- Fluent English (German is a plus)
Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience with financial datasets (credit, payments, subscriptions) or regulated industries
- Background in fintech, climate tech, or B2B SaaS
- Familiarity with GCP ecosystem
- Metabase experience
