As we scale rapidly, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Berlin HQ and help build core infrastructure and features, while growing with the company.

Your mission

Own features end-to-end across frontend and backend using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Node.js).
Design, implement, and maintain APIs that are scalable, secure, and well-documented.
Model, optimize, and operate databases (SQL & NoSQL) for performance and reliability.
Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), applying IaC (Terraform).
Integrate authentication & authorization flows (OAuth, SSO, session/token management) to ensure secure and smooth user experiences.
Leverage AI tools (e.g., coding assistants, LLM-based code suggestions) for productivity while reviewing and owning every line of code.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Ops, Finance, and Design to ship impactful features.
Set high standards for testing and maintainability.
Be open to reading, understanding, and debugging parts of the stack built with no-code/low-code tools (e.g., Bubble.io).

Your profile

5+ years professional experience in software engineering, with strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills across frontend & backend.
Strong cloud infrastructure experience, ideally with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Database expertise (SQL and/or NoSQL) with knowledge of schema design, indexing, query optimization.
Proven API development experience (REST/GraphQL).
Knowledge of auth protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SSO, session management) is a strong plus.
Knowledge of no-code/low-code platforms (eg. bubble.io) is a plus.
Comfortable working independently in a seed-stage startup with cross-functional responsibilities.
Willingness to work on-site at our office in Berlin.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.

We value high ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration. We work on-site in Berlin five days a week and stay close to our users and partners. We move fast, ship to production frequently, and take responsibility end-to-end. This isn’t a good fit if you’re looking for strict 9–5 boundaries or prefer to focus only on writing code without engaging deeply with the product.
